Nothing beats sandwiches — and if you're in the mood to enjoy them in Charlotte, we've found a lineup of places that will excite your appetite. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for some sandwiches.

Waterbean Coffee

Waterbean Coffee is a spot to score coffee, tea and sandwiches. Located at 1111 Metropolitan Ave., Suite #160, the new shop currently has four stars out of six reviews on Yelp.

The local mini chain offers several sandwiches: turkey, ham, roast beef, bacon and salami. The menu also includes a traditional banh mi (chicken or pork) and a variety of sizzlewiches, which are made to order and include shrimp as an option. 

Yelper Petro R., who reviewed Waterbean Coffee on Nov. 4, wrote, "All of the baked goods were moist and flavorful. There is a small sandwich menu and everything is fairly priced. I will most definitely come back."

Bells B. noted, "I had a latte with macadamia milk. The spot serves tea, too. I'll be back to try the boba teas and variety of sandwiches."

Waterbean Coffee is open from 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 8 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.

Jersey Mike's Subs

Jersey Mike's Subs, located at 5501 Josh Birmingham Parkway in the Charlotte Douglas Airport atrium, is a deli, offering subs, sandwiches and more.

The national chain's local outpost serves up cold subs, hot subs, wraps and more. There are a wide variety of cheesesteak options served with steak or chicken on the menu. All subs can be ordered Mike's Way, with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil, vinegar and spices. 

With a three-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp, Jersey Mike's Subs is still finding its way, but it's early days.

Yelper Elvin T., who reviewed the deli on Oct. 2, wrote, "This place is worth your money for both the quality of food and service you will receive. Try the cheesesteaks!"

Yelper Mark S. wrote, "This spot has great tasting subs but horrible service."

Common Market SouthEnd

Common Market SouthEnd is a deli, bar and market located at 235 W. Tremont Ave., Suite #103. The new spot currently holds four stars out of 15 reviews on Yelp, indicating positive reviews. 

With three locations in Charlotte, Common Market serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The business also offers live music and entertainment plus local craft beer and wine in the retail section.  

Yelper John H., who visited Common Market SouthEnd on Nov. 6, wrote, "There is plenty of seating both inside and out. The spot has a great beer selection and the sandwiches are out of this world."

Abby L. noted, "I love the building and outside area of this spot. It is so cool, quirky, hip and unique! They have many beers on tap."

Common Market SouthEnd is open from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday, 7 a.m.–midnight on Tuesday-Thursday, 7 a.m.–2 a.m. on Friday, 8 a.m.–2 a.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
