Steven Pinker at MIT

Hear Steven Pinker, an experimental cognitive psychologist, author and Harvard professor, speak on his new book, “Enlightenment Now: The Case for Reason, Science, Humanism, and Progress.” Throughout the book, Pinker aims to illustrate that "life, health, prosperity, safety, peace, knowledge, and happiness are on the rise, not just in the West, but worldwide."

The public event will offer refreshments, and is also available to view via YouTube and Facebook Live.

Homegrown Jazz: Celebrating Music with MIT Roots
