Free guided tour of the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum 

Another option is this free guided tour of the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. In December, the museum will begin closing some of its galleries as part of a $650 million, five-year renovation project. This is your chance to visit many of the galleries that will be closed during the renovation process.

Holiday Party and Costume Competition

Juste Debout: Hip-Hop Dance Event

Hip-hop dancers will want to pair up for this competition to be held at Union Market. Two-person teams will perform short routines in categories like popping, locking and house dance. Judges will choose four teams to go on to compete at the main event next year in Paris.
