Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best high-end New American restaurants around Baltimore, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture when cravings strike.
1. Charleston Restaurant

Topping the list is Charleston Restaurant. Located at 1000 Lancaster St. in the Inner Harbor, it's the highest rated high-end New American restaurant in Baltimore, boasting 4.5 stars out of 425 reviews on Yelp. The restaurant serves New American, Southern and French fare. 2. Blue Hill Tavern

Next up is Canton's Blue Hill Tavern, situated at 938 S. Conkling St. With four stars out of 413 reviews on Yelp, the bar and New American spot has proven to be a local favorite for those looking to indulge at breakfast, lunch or dinner. in the morning, try the meat lovers skillet with bacon, sausage, ham, fried potatoes, onion and more. 3. Magdalena Restaurant

Magdalena Restaurant in Midtown is another much-loved, pricey go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 65 Yelp reviews. Head over to 205 E. Biddle St. to see for yourself. Over in Mount Vernon, check out The Elephant, which has earned four stars out of 144 reviews on Yelp. Treat yourself by heading over to 924 N. Charles St. For dinner, Yelpers recommend the lobster macaroni and cheese, the lamb kebabs and the squash blossoms.
