If you're interested in new Charlotte bars, consider dropping into one of these three spots. Here are the newest places to kick back and grab a drink or two. 

Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Steele Creek

Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Steele Creek is a bar and pet service located at 13835 S. Lakes Drive.

With three locations in Charlotte, Lucky Dog Bark & Brew offers day care and boarding services for canines. There is also a full bar on-site with beer, wine and cocktails available for humans. Take a gander at the full menu here. 

With a four-star Yelp rating out of four reviews, Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Steele Creek has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Emily M., who reviewed the business on Nov. 21, wrote, "The outdoor area is double the size of the Charlotte location and has more tables and turf. We took our dogs on Saturday and there was a decent crowd but everyone had a place to sit."

And Devon Hartford R. wrote, "We were excited when we heard this spot was opening up in Steele Creek, where more bars are needed. It's a great place to have a drink."

Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Steele Creek is open from 7 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday–Thursday and Sunday and 7 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Mere's CLT

Mere's CLT is a wine bar and cheese shop located at 2400 Park Road, Suite H.

The spot specializes in wine and cheese but also serves up beer, charcuterie boards and more. Mere's CLT also offers wine and cheese memberships. Click here for the full menu of offerings.

Yelpers are excited about Mere's CLT, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of three reviews on the site.

Yelper Maria P., who reviewed it on Nov. 7, wrote, "The server helped us craft the perfect board. We loved all the cheeses, nuts, crackers, spreads and meats."

Marcie C. noted, "They offer a few wines by the glass and a rather nice selection of wines by the bottle. Overall, the bottles seem very reasonably priced."

Mere's CLT is open from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday and Monday.)

The Queen and Glass

The Queen and Glass is a cocktail bar, offering tapas and more. Located at 1315 East Blvd., Suite #115, the new arrival has a 3.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp.  

The new establishment serves up classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned and mint julep. The drink menu also features handcrafted cocktails like Catherine The Great (gin, muddled watermelon, Thai basil syrup, lime, topped with soda). The Queen and Glass is available for private events.  

Yelper Angie G., who visited the bar on Oct. 25, wrote, "I thought the drinks were very good and we enjoyed them immensely. I've seen some complaints about prices, but that's what good drinks cost in nicer establishments."

And Daniel J. wrote, "This spot offers great cocktails and friendly service. The food is just OK, and the lighting is a bit bright late at night."

The Queen and Glass is open from 5 p.m.–midnight on Tuesday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday and Monday.)
