Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top burger outlets in Milwaukee, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to fulfill your urges.
1. Oscar's Pub & Grill

Topping the list is Oscar's Pub & Grill. Located at 1712 W. Pierce St. in Mitchell Park, the pub and New American spot, which offers burgers and more, is the highest rated burger spot in Milwaukee, boasting 4.5 stars out of 634 reviews on Yelp.
Be prepared to feast on burgers loaded with fixings at this spot, which owners Oscar and Elizabeth opened in 2011. The Big O and Aloha burgers are popular with yelpers. Big O is topped with chipotle jack cheese, smoked Gouda, bacon, chorizo, fried onions and jalapeno and comes with guacamole on the side. The Aloha arrives with ham, pineapple, Havarti cheese and avocado. Fries sprinkled with Parmesan are hard to resist.
2. Aj Bombers

Next up is Juneau Town's AJ Bombers, situated at 1247 N. Water St. With four stars out of 690 reviews on Yelp, the traditional American spot, which offers burgers and more, has proven to be a local favorite.
On the menu, you'll find ten burger options, including its award-winning Milwaukee burger, served on your choice of potato, pretzel or gluten-free bun or wrapped in lettuce. Described as "Bloody Mary Heaven" by one Yelper, this spot's menu features 20 burgers popular with locals and travelers alike, including the popular Sobelman on a brioche bun (it's loaded with three cheeses plus bacon and chopped jalapeños). This spot offers five kinds of burgers, all made with half a pound of Angus beef and come with a generous side of house-made chips, Asian-slaw or both. Over in Harbor View, check out Merriment Social, which has earned four stars out of 212 reviews on Yelp. You can find the beer bar and New American spot, which offers burgers and more, at 240 E. Pittsburgh Ave.
At least one Yelper drove all the way from Chicago to get his burger fix here. This spot's signature burger features American cheese, dry-aged bacon, house pickles and a social sauce on a milk bun.
