Craving something sweet? You're in luck: a new vegan shop has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 816 E. Pike St. in Capitol Hill, the new arrival is called Cinnaholic.
First introduced to the masses on ABC's hit show "Shark Tank," Cinnaholic is now an international chain with locations in both the United States and Canada. The shop features gourmet vegan cinnamon rolls loaded with toppings.
Frosting flavors include caramel, cake batter, marshmallow, peanut butter, raspberry and more, with toppings that range from bananas and blueberries to peanut butter cups and pecans. Take a look at the website for more information and a full list of offerings.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has been warmly received by patrons.
Tiffany Z., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 26, wrote, "Overall it's a cute place that offers good vegan sweets. I would come again if I'm craving cinnamon rolls and don't want to get a sugar rush."
And Jon H. wrote, "I had the monster roll and the classic roll and both were fantastic. I think the classic roll is amazing for a vegan comparison of a cinnamon roll."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Cinnaholic is open from 10 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.
