Craving sushi? Look no further than this new arrival. Located at 701 E. Sixth Ave. in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood, the newcomer is called Fontana Sushi.
The restaurant has an extensive menu of sushi classics such as sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls and more. This is its third location, with additional outposts in Littleton and Centennial.
Start off with seafood ceviche or king salmon wrapped in avocado, cilantro and tobiko. Specialty rolls include the Flower Roll with spicy white tuna and avocado wrapped in soy paper, with eight types of fish on top; and the deep-fried Spicy Girl Roll with salmon, crab meat, seaweed salad, avocado and jalapeño.
It's still early days for the new sushi bar, which has just two reviews on Yelp thus far.
Mackenzie C., who reviewed the new spot on Oct. 30, wrote, "The prices are good and the sushi is delicious! Good-sized pieces of fish."
Yelper Helen T. added, “Simple, cozy, clean and overall really friendly neighborhood spot.”
