Next up is Fairhaven's Rustic Coffee & Wine Bar, situated at 1319 11th St. With four stars out of 45 reviews on Yelp, the spot to score coffee and tea and beer, wine and spirits has proven to be a local favorite.

This spot boasts its locally-sourced roasts and features breakfast fare such as the veggie wrap with fresh greens, tomato and feta cheese wrapped together with cream cheese and scrambled eggs.

3. The Blue Abode Bar

Roosevelt's The Blue Abode Bar, located at 2925 Newmarket St., Suite 104, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the cocktail bar, which offers beer, wine, spirits and more, 4.5 stars out of 21 reviews.

This locally-based bar pays homage to the coastal woodsy charm of the city, according to the website, and offers signature cocktails and liquors from local international distilleries alike. Wine and beer are also available.

The light food menu includes bites such as grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken quesadillas, chips and salsa and bell pepper hummus.
