Topping the list is The Capital Grille. Located at 800 Main St., the steakhouse and wine bar, which offers seafood and more, is the highest rated steakhouse in Fort Worth, boasting 4.5 stars out of 343 reviews on Yelp.

On the menu, expect options like the seared tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails; the sliced filet mignon with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and fig essence; and the porcini rubbed bone-in ribeye with a 15-year aged balsamic. There are also seafood dishes like the sea scallops with asparagus and parsnip puree or the roasted swordfish with lump crab gratin and mustard vinaigrette.

Yelper Nanci J. said, "I cannot say enough about this beautiful place! From the minute you drive up and step out of your car you are treated like royalty. My husband had steak and it was cooked to perfection. He announced this was his new favorite restaurant. The crab cakes were very well done, as was the lobster mac and cheese. We will be back!"

Next up is Northside's Horseshoe Hill Cafe, situated at 204 W. Exchange Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 239 reviews on Yelp, the steakhouse and traditional American spot, serving salads and more, has proven to be a local favorite.

On the menu, you'll see options like the roasted chicken with green chile cheese grits; the Dr Pepper-braised smoked beef short ribs; and the pan-seared pepper crusted beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes and grilled onion. It also has chicken fried steaks that are topped with various sauces, including the Cowboy Way with peppered cream gravy and the Vaquero Way with an ancho cheese enchilada.

Ty F., who reviewed it on October 15, wrote, "I had a wonderful cooked ribeye steak with green chili grits — it was outstanding. I have eaten here several times and the food is consistently great. It's going to be hard to choose next time between the chicken, chicken fried steak or ribeye. Thanks for fantastic meal and over the top service."

Sides include bacon wrapped asparagus and bourbon creamed corn. Finish your  meal with some dessert tacos with caramelized bananas and chocolate gravy.

James D. said, "This is one of my favorite places to dine in Fort Worth. You can't miss with any of the menu options and the service is top notch, from the bartenders at the rooftop to the servers in the main restaurant. To start off with, they bring you a basket of cornbread muffins and pecan biscuits. As good as they are, don't make the mistake and fill up on that stuff because you will be served a large sized entree soon afterwards."
