Craving bagels? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Rosslyn, called Bethesda Bagels, is located at 1851 N. Moore St.
With a long track record in Bethesda, the shop has established itself in the New York-style bagel scene. The doughnut-shaped delights are hand-rolled, and come in flavors from poppyseed to asiago cheese.
Enjoy them with house-made cream cheese (also in a variety of flavors, like cracked pepper with caramelized onion), or try a full-on sandwich. The Mediterranean, for example, has olive tapenade, feta, lettuce, tomato and cucumber, while the reuben is made with house-made corned beef.
This is the fourth location for the bagel shop.
Yelper Stephany C. said, "I like the fact that they make their own bagels and you can see them kneading and making the bagels in the window."
Bethesda Bagels has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Bethesda Bagels is now open at 1851 N. Moore St., so swing on by to take a peek.
