Wild Days

Wild Days is a downtown cocktail bar that recently opened on the rooftop of Eaton DC hotel, 1201 K St. NW. There you can enjoy expansive views down K Street, as well as an outdoor fire pit.
Two of the six house cocktails are made with locally distilled liquors, including "Talk Real Fine," made with Green Hat gin (plus sake, cucumber, lime and sparkling water), and "Burn Baby Burn," built on Civic Vodka (and also including ginger, Sichuan peppercorn and lime). Craft beer and cider, as well as wine, round out the drink options.
Chef Tim Ma, of the hotel's main restaurant, American Son, is responsible for the short food menu. This consists mostly of fusion tacos, like an option with marinated short ribs, kimchi and puffed rice. Check out, too, the vegan chicharrones.
The Delegate

Now open at 901 L St. NW in Mount Vernon Square is The Delegate, a cocktail bar and New American restaurant.
You'll find it off the lobby shared by a dual-branded Courtyard and Residence Inn hotel. The menu includes comfort food like crab soup with grilled corn, jumbo lump crab meat and a Parmesan crostini, or pan-seared scallops with jalapeño, sweet corn risotto and truffle butter. A full bar serves cocktails, wine and beer.
Kung Fu Tea

New at 1990 M St. NW, Suite 102 in Dupont Circle is Kung Fu Tea. The New York-based chain has locations in four countries, where it serves up Taiwanese tea in myriad forms. There are milk teas, the fruity-sweet punch, frozen slushes and more. Choose toppings like mung bean, pudding, tapioca or popping bubbles, and then let the server know how sweet you want it.
Fresh Baguette

Fresh Baguette is a bakery that's made its debut at 1737 Wisconsin Ave. NW in Georgetown. This is its third location, with the other outlets in Bethesda and Rockville.
The bakery is named after its signature product, the traditional baguette, which also comes in sesame and poppy seed. A wide variety of bread loaves are on offer, including country, whole wheat, spelt with sunflower seeds and one with raisins and walnuts.
In addition to its bread, Fresh Baguette features handcrafted sandwiches, Viennese pastries and other sweet treats.
Catch 22

Finally, new to 5832 Georgia Ave. NW in Brightwood is Catch 22. It comes from the team behind Maryland's popular Milk & Honey Cafe, which includes celebrity chef Sammy Davis.
The emphasis is on fresh seafood, often with a Southern bent. Appetizers include crab cakes, chicken wings with spicy mambo sauce and crab legs with butter sauce. For mains, think blackened catfish, Creole seafood and grits or an oyster po'boy. Specialty cocktails include the vodka-based blueberry lemonade and a pineapple margarita.
So far, it's been a popular addition, with Yelpers awarding it five stars out of 21 reviews.
