A new outpost of off-price department store TJ Maxx has debuted in Natomas at 3621 N. Freeway Blvd. (in the Promenade shopping center anchored by Target, next to Bed Bath and Beyond). It's the second in Sacramento for the chain, which also owns Marshall's, HomeGoods and more.
The mainstay of the store's selection is designer clothing for women, men and children, as well as handbags, housewares and accessories. There are also sections for decor, shoes and cosmetics.
The new TJ Maxx has gotten off to a fair start thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
"It is a beautiful store and very open," wrote Lily D., despite noting some issues with customer service. "Parking is open and easy. The prices are competitive. They are my favorite amongst all of the discount stores like this."
Yelper Elva A. called it, "a little bit overcrowded for the moment. Pros, lots of beautiful clothes and handbags. Cons, no furniture!"
