A new Japanese and Korean spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Bowl & Box, the new addition is located at 8910 Bandera Road, Suite 211, in Alamo Farmsteads.

On the menu, you'll find the Hot Gyoza soup with Korean dumplings, eggs and veggies; the Japchae Bowl with sweet potato noodles stir-fried with beef and veggies; and the Beef Bulgogi Box with stir-fried beef, broccoli, onion and green onion, served with gyoza, an egg roll and steamed rice. (See the full menu here.)

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Bowl & Box has been warmly received by patrons.

Lee L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 13, wrote, "The food here is very good and is high quality. I was very impressed with not only the food, but also the service.  They are very friendly."

Yelper Darren D. added, “Found this place on the spur of the moment —didn't regret it. Food and service was fantastic. Had both the chicken and spicy pork and both were full of flavor and very reasonably priced.”

Head on over to check it out: Bowl & Box is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
