If pizza are what you're after, look no further than this new business. The newcomer to Beacon Hill, called SoHill Cafe, is located at 1719 Blanco Road.

Among its specialty pizzas are the Fig and Prosciutto with fig jam, thinly sliced prosciutto, baby arugula and toasted pistachios; the Chicken Bacon Ranch with buttermilk fried chicken, mozzarella and bacon; and the Meat Lovers with soppressata, pepperoni, sausage, bacon and jalapeño. It also offers pasta dishes, salads, beer and wine. (See the full menu here.)

With five stars out of 13 reviews on Yelp, It's off to a strong start.

Inga C., who was among the first to review it on Nov. 17, wrote, "The restaurant is in a compact, one-story, historic building. Up front is a TV and a bar, which backs up to an open kitchen and a not-fooling-around pizza oven. The walls are lined with booths that are good for conversation. ... The pizzas are spectacular. Each one is about 10 inches across and makes a hearty meal for one or a light meal for two."

Thomas C. noted, "Spaghetti and meatballs was amazing. Also had a great pizza. The dough was fantastic. Caprese salad with a wonderful balsamic dressing."

Drop by and check it out: SoHill Cafe is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
