A new hair salon has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Hair Design By LaShon, the fresh addition is located inside Mystique Glam Salon at 1120 Waterloo Road, Suite 1-B.
Within the larger salon, the new business is owned and operated by an independent contractor, Lashon White. Services on offer include hair weaves, coloring, relaxers, braids, updos, events hairstyling and more.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp, the fresh arrival has been warmly received by patrons in its early days.
"[LaShon] is professional and cares for each of her clients on an individual basis. She has experience with all textures of hair, and she has the ability to create what you want," wrote Yelper Sheila S. on October 26. "She's also caring and sweet, and always makes your experience a comfortable one."
