1. Nothing Bundt Cakes

Topping the list is Nothing Bundt Cakes. Located at 601 S. Kings Drive in Myers Park, it's the highest rated bakery in Charlotte, boasting five stars out of 67 reviews on Yelp.
A national chain with several locations across the country, Nothing Bundt Cakes specializes in 8- and 10-inch cakes bundt cakes, tiered cakes, bundtinis (bite-sized cakes) and bundt towers — all topped with frosting made with cream cheese and butter. See the menu here.

2. Renaissance Patisserie

Barclay Downs' Renaissance Patisserie, located at 6401 Morrison Blvd., Suite 4A, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the bakery 4.5 stars out of 98 reviews.
Founded in 2013, the patisserie has become a favorite spot for pastries, macaroons, French bread, baguettes and more. Renaissance Patisserie also offers custom cakes.
"This is a Francophile's dream in terms of decor and pastry selections," Yelper Megan J. wrote. "The chocolate eclair was AMAZING! I mean, absolutely delicious and high quality. The flavor is complex and not just your typical display case offering."
3. FuManChu CupCakes

Over in Plaza Midwood, check out FuManChu CupCakes, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 86 reviews on Yelp. You can find the bakery and cafe at 826 Lamar Ave.
