Brides, grooms and their families can preview the latest wedding trends at this bridal show. Meet more than 70 wedding vendors and enter for a chance to win a $20,000 wedding, including venue, attire, entertainment and more.

Speak & Sign Series: Author Elliott J. Gorn

Scholar Elliott J. Gorn, author of "Let the People See: The Story of Emmett Till," will discuss his book this Thursday. Gorn will talk about why the story of Emmett Till, a 14-year-old boy who was murdered in 1955 in a racist attack, still resonates with the public.
Gorn teaches 19th and 20th century American urban history at Loyola University in Chicago. He has received awards from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

2018 Seasonably Chic Showcase

Get started on your holiday shopping early at this showcase. Featured booths will be Diamond and Dimples Boutique, Fenno Fashion, Curious Concoctions, Chloe+Isabel and more.
On-site child care will be available. The Freestore Foodbank will be collecting canned goods in exchange for free entry, a swag bag and free gift wrapping. Parking will be available for $2 at the Garfield Garage located next door on Ninth Street.
