Campaign Industry Election Night After Party

First, the Grassroots Professional Network is hosting its free election night after party. Industry professionals are invited to relax after a hard-fought polling day with fellow campaigners and drinks. Pamplona will be serving its usual menu of tapas and sangria.

Denuclearization: What's Next? Korea Defense Veterans Association Seminar 

On Thursday, U.S. and Republic of Korea defense leaders and experts will host an all-day seminar to discuss the pressing issues facing the bilateral alliance. Admission is free and includes breakfast, lunch and a reception. It's the fourth such seminar from the Korea Defense Veterans Association, whose mission is to strengthen the ROK-U.S. alliance through programs that facilitate education, discussion, exchanges and research.

Dr. Valerie Browning: Science, Technology, Innovation and Policy Leadership 

Also free is this talk from Dr. Valerie Browning, director of the Defense Sciences Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. Browning will explore the current national security threat landscape, as well as global trends that are shaping DARPA's investments. A reception will follow.

Mask Off: Healthy Relationships in Your Personal and Professional Life

Next, the Northern Virginia Urban League Young Professionals Network (YPN) is hosting a discussion on healthy relationships in the personal and professional realms. Mental health professionals will be on hand to help YPN members and non-members build community, work through vulnerabilities and learn what community resources are available to promote positive mental health. Refreshments will be provided.

'Harlem Nights' Celebrating Black Excellence gala

Finally, join the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (Prince William County Chapter) for its sixth annual gala and fundraiser. Entitled "Harlem Nights," the event will celebrate black excellence with fun, food and fellowship at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel.
