No One Left Behind Holiday Party

The board and staff from the charity No One Left Behind is hosting a holiday party and fundraiser on Friday. The mission of the organization, according to its website, is "to stand with our brave wartime allies from Afghanistan and Iraq. These individuals chose to serve the US military and government as interpreters and in other support roles, often at great risk to their lives and the lives of their loved ones. No matter where they are, we are committed to doing whatever we can to make sure that no one is left behind." 

Food at the party will be catered by Foodhini of Georgetown.

When: Friday, Dec. 14, 7-11:30 p.m.

Home for the Homeless [H4H] Funk & Comedy Jam

The Home for Homeless non-profit is hosting the H4H Funk & Comedy Jam fundraiser on Sunday at the Howard Theater. The evening will include stand-up and improv comedy, live music and poetry. All proceeds benefit Miriam's Kitchen.

Ward 7 Neighbors & Friends 9th Annual Holiday Party

Ward 7 Neighbors & Friends is hosting its ninth annual holiday party on Sunday at Thai Orchid Kitchen. There will be a buffet dinner with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. All proceeds will benefit So Others Might Eat (SOME).
