Archaeologist Dr. Jodi Magness will give viewers access to the city's most sacred sites. In the 45-minute film released in 2015, learn about the ancient settlement through the stories of families of different faiths, according to the Smithsonian. The Polar Express 3D

Based on the children's book by author Chris Van Allsburg, The Polar Express, released in 2004, is the story of a young boy who doesn't believe in Santa Claus, but discovers himself after a train ride to the North Pole.

In addition to the 3D screenings, there will be a special sensory-sensitive 2D screening on Saturday.

Elf

The 2003 comedy Elf is about one of Santa's elves who travels to Manhattan to meet his father and get those around him in the holiday spirit.

The film was directed by Jon Favreau and written by David Berenbaum. Like the Polar Express, it's being re-released on the big screen for the holidays.
