Non-Stop Broadway: Opening Up

If you've always wanted to be a Broadway star, but never had the chance, check out the Glitter Box Theater this Wednesday night. Sing along to selections from iconic films like "Waitress," "Mean Girls" and "Legally Blonde." Sing on stage or sing along in the comfort of your seat. 

Visitors with a singing ticket will receive an email about song selection. The theater is BYOB friendly with proper I.D.

When: Wednesday, Dec. 12, 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Holiday Hijinks: Murder Mystery Dinner

Find out who is trying to sabotage Santa with his shenanigans at this holiday murder mystery dinner on Saturday night. Is it Krampus, the monster who punishes naughty children, or the Yule cat, who eats children in Iceland?

Your ticket will also include a dinner buffet of chicken florentine, sausage and meatballs, pasta marinara, greens and vegetables. For dessert, enjoy ice cream and soft drinks. A cash bar is also available. The tax and gratuities are included in the ticket prices.

When: Saturday, Dec. 15, 7-10 p.m.

Hip Hop Nutcracker

"The Hip Hop Nutcracker" is a new twist on Tchaikovsky's classic ballet, according to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Set in 1980s Brooklyn, the show presents a variety of talented dancers, including a DJ and violinist to top off the show. 

The show is directed and choreographed by Jennifer Weber, who is the artistic director of Decadancetheatre, New York-based hip hop dance company.

When: Tuesday-Wednesday, December 12-13, 7:30 p.m.
