Quick and easy, Tepa Taqueria keeps customers happy and full with a selection that includes breakfast items, which are available all day, carne asada, burritos, tacos, shrimp cocktail and enchiladas that all come with rice and beans. 

"The food was very delicious and came out really quickly," Yelper Daniel E. said.  "The service was nice and the restaurant was clean. They had a great salsa bar and a nice selection of soda. I definitely recommend eating here."

3. Irma's Place Restaurant

Downtown Stockton's Irma's Place Restaurant, located at 524 E. Weber Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the low-priced Mexican spot 4.5 stars out of 69 reviews.

It serves authentic Mexican breakfast dishes as well as traditional fare. There are nopales con huevos, chilaquiles and machaca, all served with rice, beans and tortillas. Traditional meals include a Denver omelette, pancakes and sides include hash browns, bacon and sausage. For lunch, look for tacos, burritos and fajitas.

With an array of taco and burrito options, Rubio's Coastal Grill has developed into a local favorite. It also has salads, bowls, quesadillas, nachos and sides and desserts. Stop by on Tuesday after 2 p.m. to take advantage of Taco Tuesday, which includes either a fish taco and a beer for $5 or $1.50 fish tacos.
