Among the few types of offenses that saw a downturn last week, reports of burglary went from 18 to 11, and assault fell from four to three.
There were 143 reports of "other" crimes, an increase of 15 from the previous week. SpotCrime's broad "other" category includes a variety of offenses like fraud, trespassing, public disturbance and traffic violations. SpotCrime data also indicates that six arrests were made last week, up from one arrest the week before.
Regarding day and time factors, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays saw the most reported crimes last week. The largest increase from the previous week occurred on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, while incidents on Saturdays and Tuesdays went down. Late morning, early afternoon and late afternoon saw the most crime last week.
