Dilworth's 300 East, located at 300 East Blvd., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the wine bar and New American spot four stars out of 658 reviews.

Emily M., who reviewed it on Nov. 2, said, "Not your typical Charlotte eatery! Located in a renovated old home, it's cozy and romantic. Dim lighting, big picture windows and beautiful trees out front. We started with the French onion soup, which is superb and has me craving it! We split the lamb ragu and the hangar steak. Everything we had was delicious and the portions are large. Our cocktails were yummy."

3. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
