1. Guard and Grace
Topping the list is Guard and Grace. Located at 1801 California St. downtown, the steakhouse and wine bar, which also offers seafood and more, is the highest rated source of steak in Denver, boasting 4.5 stars out of 852 reviews on Yelp.
This modern steakhouse, winner of 5280 Magazine's "Top of the Town - Best Steakhouse" award in 2015 and 2016, serves lunch and dinner options like its Oak Fired Prime Rib and New York Strip. The venue is also available for private events.
2. The Capital Grille
Next up is LoDo's Capital Grille, situated at 1450 Larimer St. With 4.5 stars out of 579 reviews on Yelp, the steakhouse and wine bar, which also offers seafood, has proven to be a local favorite.
Start your fine dining experience with pan-fried calamari and finish it with the seared tenderloin with butter-poached lobster tails or sliced filet mignon with cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and fig essence. The restaurant also offers more than 350 wines.
3. Butcher's Bistro
Five Points's Butcher's Bistro, located at 2233 Larimer St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the butcher, steakhouse and New American spot 4.5 stars out of 407 reviews.
This restaurant, ranked one of the best steakhouses in Denver by Thrillist, specializes in nose-to-tail dining and comfort food, with ingredients purchased from local farms and suppliers. But it also sells ribeye and porterhouse steaks for customers to take home.
4. Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
Over in LoDo, check out international chain Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, which has earned four stars out of 674 reviews on Yelp. You can find the steakhouse and Brazilian spot at 1513 Wynkoop St.
The integration of Colorado's cowboy heritage with Brazilian cuisine inspired the creation of its menu. During midday, guests can order a Gaucho Lunch, with a choice of steak, chicken, pork or lamb. And for dinner, the steakhouse offers its Dry Aged Long Bone Ribeye and other select cuts.
