A newcomer to Lower Queen Anne, Moon Tree Sushi & Tapas is a sushi bar and izakaya that's located at 516 1st Ave. North

On the menu, expect to find soup, salad, vegetables, seafood, sushi and sashimi. Look for the pan-seared sea scallop with mango salsa and yuzu butter. On the drink list, look for a selection of beer and wine. 

Jack's BBQ

Now open at 701 5th Ave. in Central Business District is Jack's BBQ, a spot to score barbecue and more.

With another location in Columbia Tower, Jack's BBQ offers Texas-style barbecue, according to its website.  On the menu, expect to find starters like buttermilk hush puppies, sandwiches, greens and plates of brisket, pork ribs and sausage. For dessert, look for pecan pie with whipped cream or a lemon lime soda created almost a century ago. 

Marco Polo Pizza

Marco Polo Pizza is a spot to score pizza and more, that recently opened its doors at 1505 N.E. 65th St. in Ravenna.

The pizza spot offers a small selection of pies, salads and beverages. On the menu, expect to find pepperoni or Hawaiian pizza. For veggie lovers, there's plain or vegetarian pizza. Look for its namesake Marco Polo, topped with mozzarella, provolone, mushrooms, olives, salami, tomatoes and goat cheese. Pair that slice with a Ceasar, Italian or garden salad.

Wander over to 514 12th Ave., Across Seattle University in Squire Park and you'll find Migoto, a sushi bar and Japanese spot. With five stars out of 11 reviews on Yelp, It's off to a strong start.

Migoto replaces longtime Vietnamese restaurant Lemongrass, according to the Capitol Hill Seattle Blog. The spot offers a wide selection of appetizers, sushi, don-buri, noodle soups, stir-fried dishes, greens and more.
