CAVA

CAVA is a Mediterranean spot.

The expanding fast-casual chain specializes in customizable Mediterranean bowls and salads where customers can select their grains, proteins, vegetables and dips, like harissa and tzatziki. An assortment of toppings are on offer as well, ranging from pickled banana peppers and kalamata olives to crumbled feta and pita crisps.

Thirsty? Choose from the selection of homemade juices and teas — with flavors like watermelon mint, jasmine and strawberry citrus. (The full menu can be found here.)

The new spot has proven popular thus far with a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews.

Erica T., who reviewed it on Dec. 4, wrote, "The food is fresh and such a healthy option compared to other fast food places. I ordered the half green/grain bowl with spicy lamb meatballs and chicken. For under $14 you get a great meal!"

Shara M. added, "The food is fresh. Usually, when I go to some locations, their ingredients taste a bit old, [but] this location is on point so far. Everything seems fresh. Staff is quick—gets you in and out fairly quickly. "

Drop in and try it out: CAVA is open from 10:45 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.

Ahra Kitchen

7900 Westpark Drive, Suite A055

Ahra Kitchen is a new breakfast and brunch spot located inside the Silverline Building.

Egg sandwiches, burritos, bagels and omelettes dominate the breakfast options, though there are toasts and smoothies, too. Later in the day, expect specialty sandwiches, like a roast turkey mozzarella melt, or chicken and mozzarella on a sub roll, plus soups, salads and wraps. Nearby office workers can order online for pickup.

It's off to an uneven start, with four Yelp reviews that put it at three stars, but it's still early days for the fledgling eatery.

Neel M., who was among the first to review it on Oct. 23, said, "The food here is actually very good. I have eaten both lunch and breakfast. Their egg sandwiches are great and they have good variety. ... As great as the food is, the service is slow, the process makes no sense and the prices are ridiculous."

Lesley H. noted, "Great sandwich shop on the ground floor of the Silverline Building that serves up quite a selection! Opens early serving up breakfast and closes mid-afternoon, so certainly catering to the office crowd."

The spot is open for breakfast and lunch, but has yet to post its exact hours online.

Skin Facial Bar is a new skin care spot.

The sleek spot offers facials that range from 30-minute express to 75-minute targeted sessions. It offers professional-grade chemical peels, diamond dermabrasion and other exfoliating procedures. There are also masks, acne treatments and collagen stimulants, plus a variety of products for home use. (See a full list of services here.)

With five stars out of 11 reviews on Yelp, it's been a hit thus far.

Alexandra R., who reviewed it on Oct. 23, wrote, "Best place in the area for facials! Christina is professional, knowledgeable and detailed in her treatments. She thoroughly outlines at -home regiments so you're able to maintain the healthy glow she leaves you with."

Yelper Dee G. noted, "The space is minimalist, welcoming, clean and the service was great! My skin looks amazing."

The spot is by appointment only, with hours ranging from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
