A new coffee shop, offering tapas, tea, gluten-free options and more, has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Fount Coffee + Kitchen, the new addition is located at 10954 Chapel Hill Road in Perimeter Park.
This spot serves up Counter Culture Coffee in cappuccinos, lattes and other options. The food menu features smoothie bowls and salads, including vegan and gluten-free choices. In the afternoon, Fount Coffee + Kitchen switches over to locally-brewed beers, a wine list and a variety of small plates. (See the full menu here.)
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Fount Coffee + Kitchen has already made a good impression.
Jeff C., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on Dec. 3, wrote, "Wow, what a great experience! ... I had the breakfast stack, which is like an open-faced sandwich. There was toast at the bottom with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese on top. The eggs were seasoned perfectly and the toast was crispy."
Yelper Zach K. added, "Great coffee, plenty of seating, modern feel, awesome food. My wife got a chai latte and couldn't stop raving about it. Safe to say we will be back! Excited to try more of the small plates next time."
