"Speechless: The Ultimate Improvisational Gauntlet"
First is Speechless, an improv parody of TED talks. It's performing on Thursday at the Drafthouse Comedy Theater. The show tasks presenters, ranging from stand-up comedians to actual TED participants, with giving a presentation that they've never seen before.

Next, also at the Drafthouse, Josh Wolfe is performing a stand-up comedy act on Friday. Wolfe is a best-selling author, and has written for hit TV shows and appeared on "Last Comic Standing" and "Chelsea Lately."

"General Shaw's Chicken Comedy Showcase"
Shaw's Tavern is hosting the General Shaw's Chicken Comedy Showcase on Friday. In between bites at dinner, guests will be entertained by PG and R-rated local comics.
