Sustain Charlotte's Grow Smart CLT: End of the Year Celebration

This marks the final Grow Smart CLT event of the year. The group focuses on the sustainability challenges that Charlotte faces due to its growth. There will be a review of Sustain Charotte's accomplishments in 2018. Beer and food will be available for members, followed by a period of networking open to anyone, the presentation itself and a raffle prize drawing.
When: Wednesday, Dec. 12, 6-8 p.m.

Holiday Pop-Up Shop with Ronald McDonald House

This holiday pop-up event, presented by SouthBound and the Music Yard, will feature shopping and more. The Carolina Makers will provide live music. Attendees are asked to bring presents to donate for the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
Vendors include Just Lara (handcrafted good from South Africa), Gloria Faye (modern, functional ceramic jewelry) and LoGui Bags (handprinted designer bags), plus more.
There will also be a margarita bar with build-your-own drinks. Proceeds from the bar will also benefit Ronald McDonald House.
When: Saturday, Dec. 15, noon-3 p.m.

Sneaker Ball '18

Don your black tie attire and favorite sneakers for this charitable event. Sneaker Ball '18 aims to collect 250 pairs of new or gently used shoes for families in need. 20SDS and Experiment in Self Reliance are the event beneficiaries.
The party itself will have hor d'oeuvres, drinks, live performances and a chance to win prizes.
