Topping the list is Baoding. Located at 4722 Sharon Road, Suite F, in South Park, it's the highest rated Chinese restaurant in Charlotte, boasting four stars out of 159 reviews on Yelp.

Serving a wide range of Chinese dishes, look for house specialties like the Firecracker Shrimp with spicy tomato paste sauce and fresh broccoli, or the Three Glass Chicken with dark meat chicken, fresh garlic, ginger, basil, chili peppers, wine and soy sauce. (See the full menu here.)

Yelper Cindi G., who reviewed it on Dec. 16, wrote, "Hands down the best cashew chicken I've ever tasted. The chicken was marinated and made all the difference. The staff were exceptionally attentive and delightfully humorous. Try the pineapple fried rice—it's not the typical fried rice you'd expect."
