Chick-fil-A is a spot to score fast food chicken.
The large national chain restaurant is known for its fried chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and lemonade. The spot also offers salads, soups, chicken nuggets and milkshakes. Grilled options are available. (See the full menu here.)
With four stars out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival is receiving positive attention.
Akshata T., who was among the first to review it on Dec. 18., said, "Never tried Chick-fil-A before and I curse myself for that! Great southwest salad—healthy and still flavorful. Chicken nuggets to die for and the shake was so good!"
Yelper Don C. added, "The menu is full of all the items you tend to be familiar with when it comes to Chick-fil-A. Everything I ordered today was on point and delicious!"
The new location is open from 7 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
Yume Sushi
2121 N. Westmoreland St., East Falls

Yume Sushi is a sushi bar and Japanese spot.
Look for signature rolls such as the Dream Roll with shrimp tempura and avocado wrapped in soy paper and topped with spicy tuna, served with a creamy jalapeño sauce, sweet chili sauce and tempura bits; or the Kamikaze Roll with spicy crab and cucumber topped with avocado, tempura bits and sweet chili sauce. It offers an omakase experience, wherein the chef decides what to serve you.
While specializing in sushi, this spot also offers a sake bar and handcrafted cocktail menu. Yume Sushi is open for dinner seven days a week with lunch service on Saturday and Sunday. (Take a gander at the full menu here.)

Cat K., who reviewed it on Dec. 27, wrote, "The omakase was such an amazing experience! Chef Peter showed us so much variety. Of all the omakase I've ever had, it had the least amount of filler items. There were two bites max of rice and no fufu dessert dish, meaning everyone was full from quality meats and fish."
Amy L. added, "Mind blowingly good. The space is modern and spacious, with regular dining tables and a sushi bar with a beautiful mural and view of the chefs in action."
The new sushi restaurant is open from 4–10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.–midnight on Friday, noon–midnight on Saturday, and noon–10 p.m. on Sunday.
Shake Shack

Shake Shack is a traditional American spot, offering fast food burgers and more. The national chain has several outposts across the country.
Expect a menu of burgers, hot dogs, fries and more. There's also frozen custard to round out your meal.
With 3.5 stars out of 11 reviews so far on Yelp, it's getting solid feedback from patrons.
Allysa M., who reviewed it on Dec. 23, said, "Everything is so good! I was happy to know my chicken was made to order and was told kindly ahead of time to wait by the staff so they can make it fresh. I also enjoyed using the tablets to order my meal, very convenient. The crinkle fries are cooked to my liking too!"
Pamali Z. noted, "This location was amazing. Food was fantastic and the employees were all friendly, helpful and smiling."
The new burger spot is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
BASH Boxing

BASH Boxing is a boxing spot.

Karyzma P., who was the first to review it on Nov. 9, said, "Every staff member is so friendly and cool as hell. I dropped in a little early for my class to get everything squared away. They do have hand wraps and boxing gloves if you don't have your own, which they clean after each use. Class starts off with a nice warm up prior to beginning the workout, and then the brutality begins. You will rotate between the bag and the floor."
And Kristine B. wrote, "BASH boxing is the most unique workout in the best way. Every workout leaves me feeling empowered and strong (and usually sore!). You can tell the team truly cares about their clients and I feel so welcome in their studio."
