Burger fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 200 S. Jackson St. (between South Third and South Second avenues) in Pioneer Square, the fresh addition is called Meg’s.
It boasts that it sells "old-school hamburgers in Seattle's oldest neighborhood," on its website. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fish sandwiches and french fries line this spot's menu. Deluxe creations like the Seattle burger with a burger patty, split hot dog, cream cheese and onions are also on offer. (Check out the menu here.)
Meg’s has gotten uneven reviews thus far, with a three-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp.
Rose S., who reviewed it on Dec. 5, wrote, "Fishwich! It's all about the Fishwich! In general I love a good burger. Keep the condiments balanced and simple. Lettuce, tomato, mayo and sometimes cheese. Meg's succeeds there."
Yelper Kelvin J., however, said, "I got a Seattle Burger and a side of fries for $14 and some change. I found the meal to be way overpriced. The burger was okay. Nothing special and certainly not worth $9."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Meg’s is open from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. daily.
