A new bakery and Italian and breakfast and brunch spot has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Butcher's Hill, called Charmed Kitchen, is located at 123 S. Chester St.
For breakfast, try the breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, sausage or ham, and American or cheddar cheese, a baguette or a specialty croissant. There are small plates available during happy hour and evenings as well as an array of beers, cocktails and wine. To view the menu, click here.
Charmed Kitchen has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Angela L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 24, wrote, "This is the neighborhood cafe you've seen on TV but never had. I've only been here for breakfast, but all the bakery items are freshly made and artisanal yet still relatively cheap."
And Brad M. wrote, "We ordered the chocolate croissant, two chai lattes and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was excellent and the staff was friendly."
