An innovative new Sam's Club store has opened its doors in Dallas. Called Sam's Club Now, the wholesale retailer's new tech-savvy addition is located at 2218 Greenville Ave.

In the smaller, 32,000-square-foot store, shoppers use the Sam’s Club Now app to make their purchases. In a blog post, CEO Jamie Iannone promised an interactive experience for warehouse club members, including smart shopping lists, voice search capabilities and one-hour pickup.

"Though the store employs 42 workers, none of them are cashiers," the Dallas Business Journal reports. "When they’re done shopping, customers pay through the app and have their phones scanned as they leave the store."

The new store has received solid reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Mikie W., who reviewed Sam's Club Now on Nov. 9, wrote, "Looks amazing! No cashiers, scan as you go, pay by app and walk out! The future is now. Can't believe how different it looks compared to the old Wal-Mart grocery store that was here a few years ago."

And Anthony A. wrote, "The basket you can take pictures with is cool and the highlight is the sushi and freshly prepared dishes ... Overall this smaller version of Sam's Club works and gets you in and out without the long lines."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Sam's Club is open from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Saturday and 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on Sunday.
