If you've got Mediterranean on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located at 371 Broome St. in Little Italy, the newcomer is called Shoo Shoo. According to its website, it offers "a contemporary take on Mediterranean cuisine, with an emphasis on Israeli staples."

The restaurant is currently serving dinner. Try the grilled branzino with olive oil, celeriac sauce and sauteed greens, or the falafel latkes with fresh herbs and a pomegranate salad. (View the full menu here.)

Shoo Shoo has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Mike C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 21, wrote, "Open right now only for dinner. It's a nice low-lit spot for a nice date or a quick meal depending on what you want. The hummus is excellent, as is the pita. Definitely try the build-your-own falafel too."

Yelper Ayan K. added, “Service and food on point. I tried the zucchini, octopus and kebab, all of which were amazing.”

Head on over to check it out: Shoo Shoo is open from 5–11 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. (It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.)
