Looking for a new steakhouse to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Located at 205 Bleecker St. (between Avenue of the Americas and Downing Street) in Greenwich Village, the new arrival is called Ikinari Steak. The international chain started out in Tokyo, Japan, in 2013 before moving to the United States in 2017.
Patrons get a Japanese-style steak experience by choosing their cut of meat, then watching the chef cooked it over an open fire before it's brought out on a cast-iron plate. Try the ribeye, sirloin or the filet, then pair it with rice, salad, mashed potatoes or soup. (Check out the menu here.)
The new arrival has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
Tammy K. wrote, "It was my first time trying the Ikinari chain, and it was great! The ribeye was very tasty, and I liked being able to specify the thickness of the cut and watch them cook it right there."
MagZ M. said, "Awesome spot. The chairs are so comfortable and the table is the right height for eating steak. Everyone was super friendly and informative! Our waitress, Kathleen, was the best. So helpful, friendly and gracious."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Ikinari Steak is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.
