A new pan Asian and Shanghai-influenced spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Momo Mee, the new arrival is located at 110 E. Greenfield Ave. in Harbor View.

At Momo Mee, chef Tony Ho offers pan-Asian fare, including homemade dumplings, noodles, rice dishes and sushi, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal. Look for ramen, as well as dandan, a Szechuan noodle dish.

With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has made a promising start.

Yelper Carrie L., who was the first to review the spot on Dec. 12, wrote, “I have been in search of a good xiao long bao and this place did it. Many places where I've had this dish locally didn't really master the soup part of the dumpling, but Momo Mee definitely has this down, and with good flavor. The filling was a good-sized pork ball with good flavor."

And Foodie M. added, "The menu is fairly reasonable with nothing over $18. The housemade noodles are delicious. I didn't like my ramen, but the garlic eggplant was delicious as were the pork belly bao. The crispy noodles were great, too. It's a great spot to grab a casual bite."

The spot is open for lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, and 3-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 3-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday for dinner. (It's closed on Sunday.)
