NASA 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge
Computational Design Detroit, which describes itself as "a forum for all designers who are interested in Grasshopper, Dynamo and the future of design," is having its quarterly meeting this week.
The group will showcase a parametrically designed table and Albert Kahn’s design for a 3D-printed Mars habitat. Happy hour will follow the event.

Restorative Trails in the Great Cities: Walks and Talks of an American Urbanist
Head to the Belle Isle Nature Center this week for this December nature program. The program follows the journey of Janet Anderson, a career City of Detroit executive, Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University, and author, across 12 cities. It’s part travelogue, part lecture and part memoir.
