Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Greek eateries around San Antonio, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to meet your needs.

1. Wrigleyville Grill

Topping the list is Wrigleyville Grill. Located at 602 N.W. Loop 410, Suite 146, in Shearer Hills – Ridgeview, the eatery, which offers hot dogs and sandwiches, is the highest rated Greek restaurant in San Antonio, boasting 4.5 stars out of 411 reviews on Yelp.

Known for its Chicago-style street foods, it also specializes in Greek options, including pork gyros, veggie pita sandwiches, chicken pita sandwiches, Greek salad and village salad. 

Yelper Panos P. wrote, "I was ecstatic to finally find a traditional Greek gyro (pork) in San Antonio! The food is delicious no matter what you order, but I would recommend the pork gyros and the Greek feta fries. The staff is also very friendly!"

2. Mina & Dimi's Greek House

Next up is Lackland Terrace's Mina & Dimi's Greek House, situated at 7159 W. US Highway 90th. With 4.5 stars out of 373 reviews on Yelp, the Greek and Mediterranean spot has proven to be a local favorite.

This restaurant serves traditional Greek dishes including a lamb souvlaki platter, moussaka, gyro or chicken platters, saganaki, spanakopita and dolmades. Dessert options include baklava, galaktabouriko and kadaifi. Mina & Dimi's Greek House also offers wine tastings, and belly dancers perform at certain times. Jerusalem Grill, located at 3259 Wurzbach Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Greek spot four stars out of 312 reviews.

Jerusalem Grill offers appetizers such as hummus, cucumber dill yogurt and smoked eggplant. Main course options include beef, lamb and chicken kebabs for two to six people; falafel and hummus platter; shawarma platter; lamb shank; and grilled fish.  

4. Athens Greek Xpress & Catering

Athens Greek Xpress & Catering, a Greek and Mediterranean spot located downtown, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 67 Yelp reviews. Head over to 111 S. Flores St. to see for yourself.

"It has the fast-paced ordering of a chain restaurant but the food is delicious," Yelper Ryan V. wrote. "The salad with chicken shawarma is an easy recommendation, but nothing is bad here."

Other menu items include chicken or beef kebab wraps; falafel wraps; and a combo plate with chicken shawarma, gyro, Greek salad, basmati rice, tzatziki sauce and pita bread.

Over in Shady Oaks, check out John the Greek, which has earned four stars out of 176 reviews on Yelp. You can find the well-established eatery at 16602 San Pedro Ave.
