Q Fanatic BBQ, a spot to score barbecue and more, is the neighborhood's top rated business. Yelpers give the business, located at 6009 Nicollet Ave. South, four stars out of 104 reviews.

Like meat? Stop by Q Fanatic and pick up a pound of slab bacon, pulled chicken, sliced brisket, slab ribs or maple ham. Sandwiches include the Q ban with pulled pork, Swiss cheese and pickles; the Q Club with chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato and aioli; and the Philly Q with roasted peppers, onions, Swiss cheese and your choice of meat. Here's the full menu. The place also caters.

Yelper Corbin R. wrote, "Q Fanatic always hits the spot when I'm in the mood for barbecue. The quality of the product is very good, the sauces are unique and delicious and the price point is very fair. The meats taste fantastic and I've really found no room for complaints. The best part about this place that really makes it stand apart is the service."

2. Taqueria Victor Hugo 2

Taqueria Victor Hugo 2, a food truck and Mexican spot, is another much-loved neighborhood go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 32 Yelp reviews. Head over to 5801 Nicollet Ave. South to see for yourself.

As the name suggests, this is the second installation of the Taqueria Victor Hugo food truck. Like the first, the restaurant on wheels offers tacos with a variety of options (beef, pork, chicken and more), burritos, quesadillas and tortas.

Lisa W. said, "Love this place! Great value and delicious food! I usually get a few kinds of tacos and a quesadilla. I'm salivating just thinking about their food! There is usually a line, but well worth the wait."

Finally, there's Tailgate Sports Café, a local favorite with four stars out of 62 reviews. Stop by 6050 Nicollet Ave. to hit up the sports bar and traditional American spot next time you're in the neighborhood.

This spot has an eclectic space and a menu to match. Expect everything from chicken fajitas and jalapeño burgers to grilled cheese and Greek pizzas. Thirsty? Grab a pint or pitcher of beer, a mojito or a glass of whiskey and watch the game on the flat-screen TVs. The full menu can be seen here.

Craig E., who reviewed it on Sept. 10, said, "This is a great community bar. Staff is very friendly, great service and a great place to watch a number of sporting events because there are several TVs, all with great viewing. The prices are also very reasonable."
