Dental Health Basics with Dr. Jeffrey Evans

In honor of National Pet Dental Health Month in February, learn the ins and outs of one of the most common dental conditions in dogs and cats: periodontal disease.

Guests at tonight's workshop will learn how to keep their pets healthy with tips for at-home prevention and early detection. Participants will also take home dental products and be entered to win an $150 off a dental cleaning.

Healthy Visions Wellness Fair

This Thursday, dive into a health and wellness fair hosted by Sister 2 Sister, a publicly funded HIV/STD risk-reduction program for local young women. There will be a wellness panel and resource tables on site, along with free HIV and STI screenings.

Guests are also invited to create individual and community vision boards, plus enjoy a free dinner and giveaways.

Boston Alliance for Young Children’s Social Emotional Wellness Meeting

If you're a caregiver of a child up to age 8, join a meeting of the Boston Alliance for Young Children's Social Emotional Wellness on Friday. The meeting is an opportunity to network, share resources and information, and discuss early childhood and family-related topics.

Disctopics will include mental health, early education and care, grandparents, foster care and more. Snacks will be provided.
