UK-based health researchers and authors Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett are set to discuss their new book, "The Inner Level: How More Equal Societies Reduce Stress, Restore Sanity and Improve Everyone's Well-Being," this Wednesday evening at First Church In Jamaica Plain.
The duo previously co-authored the 2009 book "The Spirit Level: Why Equality is Better for Everyone."
Copies of their latest title will be available for purchase at the gathering.

Hypoxia Research Symposium

Last but not least, explore the latest research and trends on hypoxia — a condition in which the body is deprived of an adequate oxygen supply.
To support cross-collaborative research on the condition, Brigham Research Institute's half-day symposium, this Friday, will bring together clinicians and researchers who are working on projects related to hypoxia.
William Kaelin, M.D., professor of medicine at Dana–Farber Cancer Institute, will deliver the keynote speech.
