2nd ANNUAL MLK WEEKEND DALLAS THE SEQUEL
First, kick off the weekend with the second annual MLK Weekend Dallas Midwest Mix at various locations in the city. There will be six events throughout the weekend, including a Meet-and-Greet on Friday, a mid-day comedy party and black attire reception on Saturday and parties throughout the day on Sunday.

Also on Friday, The TX Studio is hosting Tacos and Tunes with SARRA, A Kind of Kin and Brody Price. The event is an intimate concert series where each artist will play four songs while chicken or veggie tacos are served.

FIT for a KING {Attitude Adjustment}
Next, the Sushi Axiom Addison is hosting "Fit For a King" party on Friday. In honor of Martin Luther King weekend, proceeds from the event will be donated to The Martin Luther King Foundation and FAMU's DFW Alumni Chapter to raise funds for Youth Scholarships for Dallas area students, according to the promoter of the event.

KNOCKOUT SUNDAYS DAY PARTY ( MLK DAY PARTY )
And finally, the Rare Society is holding the Knockout Sundays Day Party at Knockout Sports Bar. There is no cover and the location has over 50 TVs to catch the Patriots and Chiefs play the AFC championship game and the Saints and Rams in the NFC final.
