Next, longtime civil rights activist and journalist Dorothy Butler Gilliam will discuss her new memoir this Thursday evening at the National Press Club.
"Trailblazer" tells her story — from covering school integration in Arkansas in the 1950s as a cub reporter to writing an editing on politics, education and race for 30 years at The Washington Post.
After her presentation on Thursday, Gilliam will answer questions and sign copies.

9th Annual Red Dress Benefit
