Plano West Theatre - "Gypsy"
First, Plano West Senior High School students are performing the musical "Gypsy" on Thursday at the Plano West Senior High School Auditorium. The show, which originally opened on Broadway in 1959 and was nominated for eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, is the story of a mother who tries to prepare her two daughters for the rigors of life in show business.

Education and Child Development Fair
Next, high school, college, post-graduate and prospective education major students can learn about what Collin College has to offer as the campus hosts the Education and Child Development Fair on Saturday. The free event, which will include faculty and staff on site, is focused on people who are interested in becoming a teacher or child development interventionist.
