
A new Eastern European diner has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Dacha Diner, the new arrival is located at 1416 E. Olive Way in Capitol Hill.
Notable menu options include the Dacha Plate, which includes Pacific lox, eggplant jam and pickle mix served cold with bread and butter; beef and pork dumplings; and a regional specialty called Blini, a large folded crepe with salmon, sour cream and red onions. With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Dacha Diner has made a promising start.
Coco M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 29, wrote, "Cute, cute, cute! So happy to see such a thoughtful and bright restaurant go into this space."
And Rivet C. wrote, "I'm excited to have a new addition to the neighborhood! More food options always make me happy. The menu is fun and different with OK prices."
