Lotus Falafel & Shawerma Millbrae is a Mediterranean spot that's located at 360 Adrian Road. Owned by a restauranting family hailing from Gaza by way of Los Angeles, it serves hummus, falafel, chicken shawarma and more in a location that was formerly home to a couple of Mexican restaurants. Rush Cycle Millbrae

Stop by 273 Broadway and you'll find Rush Cycle Millbrae, a new cycling class spot. The nationwide chain offers "a high-intensity workout that will strengthen and tone your body," the company says on its website. Its flagship class, called Rush Ride, is 45 minutes long and addresses the upper body, lower body, core, and cardio fitness.
Pandora Spa

Next, Pandora Spa is a new nail salon and massage spot that's located at 979 Broadway, Suite 112. Its aestheticians perform nail services, waxing, massage and air cupping.
Water Lounge Spa

Another new spa, this one a few doors down at 979 Broadway, Suite 202, is Water Lounge. It offers hydrotherapy sessions that include private hot tub rooms with steam showers. There are facials, body scrubs and massages available, and you can book online at its website.
Taikosho

Finally, stroll past 102 S. El Camino Real and you'll find Taikosho, a new sushi bar and fusion Japanese spot. Open for both lunch and dinner, its menu includes numerous appetizers, like a seaweed salad, grilled eggplant and grilled mackerel with ponzu sauce.
There's a large seasonal sashimi and nigiri selection, and grilled yakitori items like wagyu beef and shiitake mushrooms. Finally, there are noodle dishes, ramen and Japanese hot pot. Beer, wine, sake number are among your drink options.
