Need more bagels in your life?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top bagel outlets in Minneapolis, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to achieve your dreams.

1. Rise Bagel

Topping the list is Rise Bagel. Located at 530 N. Third St. in North Loop, the spot to score bagels and more is the highest rated spot of its kind in Minneapolis, boasting 4.5 stars out of 73 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Anne J., who reviewed it on Jan. 7, wrote, "Rise has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's the type of place you could spend a few hours in. When you arrive, you walk towards a display case of bagels. It feels like you're looking at an exotic artifact in a museum case instead of just picking out a bagel. While the assortment of bagel choices isn't huge—there were nine flavors—the freshness and quality makes up for it."

2. St Paul Bagelry

Next up is Fuller Tangletown's St Paul Bagelry, situated at 5426 Nicollet Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 47 reviews on Yelp, the breakfast and brunch spot, which offers bagels, coffee and tea, has proven to be a local favorite.

Jennifer K. said, "Great bagels! They are crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside—a combination that is hard to get at most places—and there is plenty of seating on a Monday morning and they have a small corner with toys for kids!"

3. Bruegger's Bagels

Bruegger's Bagels, a breakfast and brunch spot that offers bagels, sandwiches and more in University District, is another go-to, with four stars out of 19 Yelp reviews. Head over to 720 Washington Ave. SE to see for yourself.

Tanya W. wrote, "I love the smoked salmon bagel here. It's the only thing I'll order when I want a savory breakfast/brunch on the go. They put so much smoked salmon and cream cheese in your bagel, and it's amazing with the tomatoes, onions and capers!"
